Stars and rewards

Updated on Oct 1, 2026

Each solo level is graded in stars, based on the share of questions you answered fully right. A half-right answer (an almost correct ranking, for example) earns you points but does not count towards stars.

The scale

  • 3 stars: at least 90% correct answers.
  • 2 stars: at least 80%.
  • 1 star: at least 50%. That is the bar that clears the level and opens the next one.

A run where the game helped you after several fails (extra time, an answer removed) earns two stars at most, even at 100%.

You can replay a level as often as you like: only your best result is kept.

What a level pays

A level's coins and XP are paid once, the first time you earn at least one star on it. Rewards grow along the path, and each chapter's boss pays more: in the first chapter, 10 coins for a regular level, 30 for the boss.

On top of that, once each:

  • The first level bonus: 50 coins the first time you clear level 1, or your starting level if you took the placement test. Once only.
  • The Perfect bonus: extra coins the first time you answer every question of a level correctly. A run where the game helped you (extra time, an answer removed) or where you took a hint does not count as flawless.
  • The consolation reward: a level finished with no star the first time still gives you a small something.

After three stars

A three-star level can be replayed in Mastery mode to win a crown: see Mastery mode.
