Hints
In solo, a hint strikes out wrong answers to help you find the right one.
Using a hint
During a single-answer question, tap Hint. Up to two wrong answers are struck out. At least one wrong answer always stays next to the right one: the hint helps you, it does not hand you the solution.
- One hint per run: once you have used your hint, you cannot take another one until the level ends.
- Single-answer only: other question types have no hint.
- No perfect run: a run where you took a hint does not count as a perfect run (Perfect bonus, quest, achievements), even at 100%. Your stars do not change.
- Not in challenges: hints are turned off in Mastery, in the daily challenge (and in the map level that carries its quiz, while it is the challenge quiz) and in club challenges, where your score is compared with other players'. See Mastery mode.
Getting hints
Each hint uses up one token. Tokens are sold in the shop, in packs of 3 for 50 coins (the Hints ×3 item).
If a whole level has you stuck rather than one question, see Unlock the next level.
