Delete your account
Go to Settings › Danger zone › Delete Account, then tap Delete my account. You'll be asked to confirm who you are: your password, or signing in again with Google or Apple if your account is linked to one.
An account linked to Apple is confirmed with "Sign in with Apple", so from the iPhone app.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and no way back.
Before you delete
- App Store or Google Play subscription: deleting your account doesn't stop it. Cancel it in your store first: see Cancel Premium. A subscription taken on the website is cancelled along with the account.
- Your published quizzes and themes stay online, without your author name and without their image. If you want them gone, make them private or delete them first.
- Your club: if you own it, it passes to the member next in line (a club admin first, otherwise the longest-standing member). A club where you are the only member is dissolved.
- A copy of your data: you can download it in Settings › Danger zone › Export my data.
What gets erased
Your profile, your email address, your progress, your stats, your game history, your friendships, your in-game purchases and your settings. Your club messages and the images of your quizzes and themes are erased too.
What stays, without your name
- Your published quizzes and themes, without their image.
- The text of your private messages, on the side of the person you wrote to: it's their conversation too. The same goes for your room messages. Your club messages, on the other hand, are erased.
You can't get into your account anymore
First try to get back in: see Forgot your password. Otherwise, write to us from the account's email address: see Contact support.
