Play without a connection

In the iPhone and Android app, solo mode stays playable without a connection. The website needs the network.

Get your phone ready

Solo quizzes download on their own whenever you have a connection. To check, go to Settings › Offline mode: the status reads "Ready" once everything is on your device. You can also tap Download now.

Open the solo map at least once with a connection: it then stays available offline.

What works offline

• The home screen and the solo map.
• Solo levels that are already downloaded.
• Your device settings: sound, music, vibrations, theme. A language change applies right away and is saved to your account once you're back online.

What waits for the network

Multiplayer, rooms, competitive mode, the daily challenge, friends and messages, clubs, the shop, quiz creation, and signing in to your account. These screens stay visible but show a message: nothing is lost, come back when you have a connection.

Your offline games

Coins and rewards earned offline are credited once you're back online. A "to sync" counter shows the games waiting. Reconnect the app within 30 days: an older game can no longer be validated. More rarely, a game is refused because the quiz was updated in the meantime, its level wasn't unlocked yet, or the phone's date and time were wrong: the app lets you know.
