Create a quiz
With an account, you can write your own quizzes and have your friends or the whole community play them. The editor needs a connection.
Opening the editor
Go to the library (Quizzes in the menu) and tap Create quiz. You can also start from a theme's page.
The three steps
- Basics: the title, the description, the difficulty level and a cover picture if you like. The Make this quiz public option makes it visible to the community and in rooms.
- Theme: pick the theme that will help players find your quiz.
- Questions: tap Add a question, choose its type (the less common ones are under More types…), write the question and the answers, and tick the right one. An optional explanation shows up after the answer.
Each question can be duplicated, deleted or moved with its arrows. Time and points are prefilled from the type and the difficulty; tap Edit next to them to adjust. A time left empty means no limit.
For the formats that need a little care:
- Ranking: write the items in the order the player has to rebuild, the first at the top, and fill in the top and bottom labels (for example "Most recent" and "Oldest").
- Fill in the Blank: mark where the menu goes with three underscores:
___. - Image Grid: each answer is a two-letter country code (fr, jp…) to show a flag, or the address of an image hosted on SparkleQuiz. Images from other sites are refused.
Finish with Save quiz. You can come back to it later, then Update quiz.
How many quizzes
A free account can create up to 3 quizzes per week; the counter resets every Monday. A deleted quiz still counts. With Premium, creations are unlimited.
