The shop

The Shop is in the navigation bar. It's split into tabs: Boosters, Coins, Hearts and Premium.

What your coins buy

Under Boosters:

• Extra hearts, 100 coins: 5 hearts right away, anything extra goes into your reserve.
• Streak Shield, 150 coins: protects your streak on a day you don't play. You can hold 2 at most.
• XP Boost ×2, 150 coins: doubles your XP for 60 minutes, starting when you tap Activate. A game you start during the boost gets it in full, even if it ends afterwards; a game already under way when you activate it does not. Games played offline never get it: they are credited when you're back online, without the boost.
• Hints ×3, 50 coins: 3 hints. Each one strikes out up to two wrong answers on a single-answer question, never handing you the solution, and you can use one per run at most. See Hints.
• Skip a Level, 300 coins: skips the level you've reached on the map and unlocks the next one, with no stars. You can always replay it for its stars.

Before each purchase, a confirmation shows your balance after the purchase.

Your coins are useful elsewhere too:

• repairing a broken streak, see Your streak and how to repair it;
• unlocking the Premium track of the Season Pass;
• customizing your avatar (My Avatar);
• skipping a chapter of the solo map, or changing your username after the first free change.

Buy coins

The Coins tab offers packs paid with real money. The price shows in your currency. On the website, payment goes through Stripe; in the app, through the Google Play Store or the App Store.

If your payment went through but your balance hasn't moved, wait a few minutes: the coins arrive as soon as the payment is confirmed. There's no need to pay twice.
