Your streak and how to repair it

Updated on Sep 28, 2026

Your streak counts the days in a row on which you played at least one game. Tap your streak at the top of the screen to open My Streak: today's status, calendar, shields and rewards.

What counts

One game a day is enough: a solo level, the Daily Challenge, a room game, a Quick Game or a competitive match. You need to have answered at least one question in it: starting a game and leaving without answering doesn't count. In a room, a Quick Game or a competitive match, the day counts from your first answer. Days follow your local time, midnight to midnight. A game started before midnight and played no more than 30 minutes after it counts for the day you started it.

What protects it

If you miss a day, your streak isn't lost straight away. Protections are used in this order, one per missed day:

  1. The free grace day: it switches on when you play two days in a row, and recharges each time you play two days in a row again.
  2. Streak shields: each shield covers one missed day. You can hold 2 at most. You earn them from the daily reward and the Season Pass, or buy one for 150 coins with Buy a shield.

When there's no protection left, the streak drops to zero.

Repair a broken streak

For 48 hours after it breaks, My Streak offers to buy it back: tap Repair.

The price depends on the length of the lost streak: 10 coins per day, with a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 300 coins. The exact price shows on the button.

If you've already played again in the meantime, nothing is lost: the days of your new streak are added on top of the repaired one.

Streak milestones

Some streak lengths unlock a badge and a one-time bonus (coins or shields). You'll find them under Streak milestones and in the Total tab of the daily reward.
