Player level, XP and achievements

Updated on Oct 1, 2026

Your player level measures everything you have played. It rises with XP and has nothing to do with the levels on the solo map.

Earning XP

  • In solo, the first time you earn at least one star on a level. Bosses give more, and a level you fail the first time still gives a small consolation reward. See Stars and rewards.
  • In solo off the map (a quiz you picked yourself, with Choose a quiz or from the quiz page, even in a room just for you), once per day and per quiz: the first game you finish gives XP, a little more for each correct answer. Replaying the same quiz on the same day, one way or another, gives nothing more, neither XP nor quest progress.
  • In multiplayer, with other players, at the end of every game in which you answered at least one question, a little more for each correct answer. Staying until the end without answering gives nothing: no XP, no quest, no finished game.
  • With the daily challenge and other activities in the game.

It takes 180 XP to go from one player level to the next, and that step does not grow with your level.

What your level unlocks

  • At level 3: the ranked duels of Competitive mode.
  • At level 3: a free trial of the AI assistant in the quiz editor. See The AI assistant in the editor.

Achievements

Achievements reward milestones: games played, perfect runs, streak days, Competitive wins, friends, rooms hosted, quizzes created, XP and level reached. You find them on your profile, in the Achievements section, sorted into Unlocked and In Progress. Tap an achievement to see what it takes.

For the creation achievements, only your published quizzes count (not drafts or archived ones). The quiz and friend achievements never go down: deleting a quiz or removing a friend doesn't make you lose anything.

A perfect run counts toward achievements in solo and in multiplayer, as long as you took no hint. On the solo map, it only counts on your first win of the day on that level: replaying a level you already cleared, the same day, doesn't add another, neither to your perfect runs nor to your perfect-run streaks.
