Add friends and message them

Your friends live on the Friends screen, available from the menu.

Add a friend

1. Open Friends.
2. In the Search / add a friend... field, type their username.
3. Tap Add friend.

Your friend gets a notification. Once they accept, you show up in each other's lists. If someone sends you a request, choose Accept or Reject.

Chat privately

Tap Send message from your friends list or the search, or open Messages to find your conversations. You can also invite a friend straight into your room, see Create a room and invite your friends.

Choose who can contact you

In Settings, under Profile Information:

• Public profile: when off, only your friends can message you.
• Allow friend requests: when off, nobody can send you a request.

Remove or block

From a friend's card, Remove takes them off your list. Block stops that person from messaging you; you can unblock them later.
