Create a room and invite your friends

A room is a live game with your friends: everyone answers the same questions at the same time, and the ranking shows up after each question.

Open the room

1. On the home screen, find the With friends card.
2. Tap Create a room. You land straight in your room, as the host.

You don't need an account to create a room, but with one your game counts toward your streak and your quests.

Pick the quiz

Tap Link a quiz:

• Random quiz draws an official quiz for you in one tap. You can narrow the draw by difficulty or by theme, and include community quizzes.
• I'll choose myself lets you browse themes or search for a specific quiz.

You can change the quiz as long as the game hasn't started.

Invite your friends

• Copy room code: your friends enter it on their home screen, under "Got a code?".
• Copy invite link: a link that opens the room directly.
• Invite friends: pick from your friends list, they get a notification.

A room holds up to 8 players, and up to 16 if the host has Premium.

Set up the room

In Room settings, the host chooses:

• the game mode: Standard, or Speed for a race against the clock;
• the visibility: Public (listed with the public rooms), Friends only, Private (Code) or Club quiz.

Start the game

When everyone is in, tap Start room. At the end, you can Restart a new game with the same players: those still on the results screen are brought back to the room automatically.
